The Spinx (w/Easter Island head) guards the stairway to heaven... the Fool (egg/0) clings to the cliff. (source?)
Ok... so what's with the eggs? To be completely honest, I am not really sure just yet. Seemed like a good enough place to dive into my story, which after all began in an egg.

The Tarot Deck begins with the 0 'Fool' card.
Somewhere in my mid 40's when I began my Quest in earnest and was rooting around for clues, I began to notice 'eggs'. It was subtle at first, but once I started paying attention, they were everywhere.
Eggs in movies...
Eggs in art...
Eggs in books...
Eggs in video games... (a staggering amount!)
Eggs in games and comics...
(Note 'Sheldon the Egg' character from comic strip "U.S. Acres (a.k.a. Orson's Farm [Orson Wells Farm?], and Orson's Place); 'Sheldon' is my last name)
Eggs in Idioms and Dialogue...
Eggs in math, geometry, and nature...
Eggs in art, movies, literature, video games... in nature, in my name (gr3gg), in my nick name, in pictures of eggs with my name. When I was in the military, I was stationed at Eglin (pronounced Egg-lin) AFB. My matrix goes by the Gr3ggorian calendar. What the F?!? Why eggs!?! They're not that cool... they don't have any business being in video games! There must be something important or relevent and occulted (hidden) about eggs. 'The Egg' is not only an archaic, occulted symbol used around the world, it seems to be synchromystically woven into the tapestry of my Quest. It's some kind of hint that appears everywhere. So, through the therapy of blogging, I am attempting to pierce the veil [shell] and discover the syncnificance of gr3gg and the egg.
Since I've abandoned all fantasies of anonymity in this day and age, and frankly no longer give a shit, I might as well come right out and introduce myself properly. To get my attention: say gr3gg, (pronounced 'gr EH g', one syllable; for those not familiar with 'leet' spelling, the trinity number 3 replaces the E). That said, I like to make a clear distinction: my 'legal fiction' (or the NAME of my personal corporation), issued on a matrix system berth certificate after my vessel passed though my mother's water canal is, GREGORY SCOTT SHELDON. Before I could touch the ground, they captured the in-print of the sole of my foot to symbolically, but failingly, capture my soul. This legal identity is NOT me, nor I it... it is merely a membership to participate in a human created matrix system when it suits me. I certainly am not under it's jurisdiction 24/7; only under the circumstances I choose to engage with it. I don't really care that anyone knows my NAME or who I am; I only state it because the name is part of the story.
'Greg' comes from Latin 'grex', meaning "group or flock"; you could say I'm egregarious, too.
I found a reference to the family name 'Sheldon' online saying it essentially means "flat-topped hill" (I'll reference this fact later).
Then there's the internet's Urban Dictionary - perhaps it's like reading a horoscope where you're convinced that almost everything you read seems to apply to you, but to me the descriptions on UD seemed funny, relevant, largely accurate, and strangely foretelling. Don't think I'm being narcissistic; my ramblings are about my Quest and how I interpret my Matrix to be about me... I'm just having some fun with it (or it's having fun with me).
Below are the seven Urban Dictionary definitions for 'Greg' and 'Sheldon' combined for a little humor (skip these if you want):
I'm not exactly a lush, but when I'm single and drinking, of course I'll flirt with pretty girls (who am I kidding... the younger me would have anyway). My heritage is from UK and my middle NAME is 'Scott'... perhaps I'm Scott-ish? And I'm blushing and ROTFL at some of these!:-o
Perhaps this blog will become it's own 'big bang' and achieve the strongest fanbase, lol. I totally feel a sync and resonance with Sheldon on BBT and Young Sheldon shows.
Fastest growing flock ('grex')? Ya, I think I'm a pretty good guy.
I'm a true gr3gg for sure. Definitely consider myself a logical thinker; I like to think I'm steeped in the trivium and quadrivium.
More of the same... but where the hell do these come from? Who write's em?!? The Architect? The Oracle?
I'm gr3gg. I'm possibly a cult, but I love music, my peeps, and I'll make you laugh :-P ... I digress.
It's not all fun and games though, being a 'Sheldon'. Pictured above is the Sheldon family crest I found online. It seems my family motto is Optimum Pati, Latin for to suffer is best. I think it means choosing to do the harder things in life sculpts the marble of the soul like the hard blows of a chisel.
Growing up, my siblings and cousins all came up with quirky nicknames for one another, e.g. Sandy-sandwich, Laura-lollipop, Marge-Margarine, Jeff-Giraffe, Davey-Baby, etc.. Me... I was knighted Gregg-egg. And here is great eggsample of how the universe sync winks (or mocks me): in the previous sentence I used "e.g." (ahem... e.g.g.)... I was curious if I used it properly (was that e.g. or i.e.?). E.g. is short for exempli gratia', Latin for for example. Now I'll remember 'e.g.[g]' is used to give eggsamples. (i.e. = in est means 'in other words')
I've had several other knick-names that seem syncnificant and will come up in later posts: When I was about 2nd grade, I asked my parents to change my name to 'Oscar', so they called me that periodically for many years. (BTW: 'Oscar' is an anagram for 'a Cros[s]') In high school, I had the ability to track down my pals and was dubbed 'RADAR'. A few years later in the Air Force, ahem... syncnificantly working in RADAR, since I was from California, drove a white Mercedes coupe, and was dating a dish named Barbie, my friends called me 'Biff'. A Biff is a fool; moron this later ;-P
I also recalled these Garbage-Pail Kids stickers from my childhood; when I was a boy, I had these stuck to the headboard above my bed. (Note the 'Egg Sheldon'). These stickers did wonders (not!) for a young boy's self image!! Me: cracked egg, half-blind, peg legged, hooked in the nose, burned at the stake, back to the egg fool. Thank the God Hermes for kicking me out of my Hermit shell.
There's a ton of relevant symbolism behind that Peg Leg Greg image. Here are a few snippets from a fantastic resource: (subliminalsynchrosphere.blogspot.com ) Huge props to Horselover Phat for his elegant work (I'll be referencing his work a lot). Notice how Disney subtly encodes the Egyptian 'Opening of the Mouth' ceremony in this scene from Peter Pan.
I included the images of the rainbow resonating, sword wielding, little green man Robin Williams, as I'll have more to say about him. Note the 'egg' in the Mork and Mindy image, a show I enjoyed as a kid. Yesterday I synchromystically took a hike with an 'Ashtaroth' over the Robin Williams 'Rainbow Tunnel' and sat and gazed over SF and the Golden Gate Bridge. The woman I was hiking with was a family and woman's health nurse practitioner and midwife of Hebrew decent. We later sat on a sailboat and had discussed sailing. According to the web: Ashtarot/Asherah is the Hebrew goddess of Fertility. Lady of the Sea. Queen of Heaven. She's known in other cultures and myth as: Semiramis (wife of Nimrod; Babylon), Aphrodite (wife of Zeus; Greece), Venus (wife of Jupiter; Rome), Isis (wife of Osiris; Egypt...btw: Osiris will come into play later in my story) and Astarte/Ishtar/Easter (wife of Bel/Baal; Phoenicia).
The 'Hook' goes at least back to Egyptian funeral rites, where it was called the 'maker hook', 'adze' or 'ahnetjer'. It was used symbolically in the opening of the mouth ceremony related to the weighing of the heart ceremony. According to Wiki, the adze "[represents] the consonants STP, "chosen"". (see also STP: band Stone Temple Pilots and the old STP motor oil company)
From The book of death: weighing your heart, by Francesco Carelli:
"The classic exposition of judgement at death comes in the Book of Coming Forth by Day, in chapter/spell 30 and in chapter/spell 125, and the so-called weighing of the heart. To the Egyptians, the heart, or ib, rather than the brain, was the source of human wisdom and the centre of emotions and memory. Because of its apparent links with intellect, personality and memory, it was considered the most important of the internal organs. It could reveal the person's true character, even after death, so the belief went, and therefore the heart was left in the deceased's body during mummification. In the weighing of the heart rite, the heart of the deceased is weighed in the scale against the feather of the goddess Maat, who personifies order, truth, and what is right. ... The spell appeals to the heart not to weigh down the balance or testify against the deceased to the keeper of the balance. Part of the spell gives instructions for making the heart scarab: ‘Make a scarab of nephrite adorned with gold and put within a man's breast, and perform for him the ceremony of opening the mouth, the scarab being anointed with myrrh.
In Egyptian religion, the heart was the key to the afterlife. It was conceived as surviving death in the Netherworld, where it gave evidence for, or against, its possessor. It was thought that the heart was examined by Anubis and the deities during the weighing of the heart ceremony. If the heart weighed more than the feather of Maat, it was immediately consumed by the monster Ammit."
The Disney Capt. Hook / crocodile mouth image above allegorically symbolizes the 'opening of the mouth ceremony'. The adze was used to open the mouth of the dead. From Digital Egypt for Universities "In essence it might be described as a consecration ritual for images in human form. It is known to have been performed on statues and...at least, coffins. In the ritual, specially designated persons used special ritual tools to touch the mouth and eyes of the image to enable a spirit to receive food and drink, to breathe, and to see. Sustenance and light are the two key aspects of life desired for the person for eternity."
IMHO: when it's your turn, the gate-keeping beast will painfully force your mouth open... and you better spill your guts and own your shit!

The Ahwahnee Hotel, Yo-Semite Valley, CA
The Ahwahneechee natives of Yosemite Valley in California referred to the valley as "the place of the gaping mouth"; the tribe is behind the name of the Ahwahnee Hotel (now being re-branded as 'The Majestic Hotel' ?!?! WTF!) SubSyncro HLP does a dynamite job unpacking the allegory in Stanley Kubrick's 1990 horror classic The Shining (partially set in the hotel) and the Opening of the Mouth ceremony. In the movie, Jack takes the 'Golden Road to the Sun' in his yellow [scarab sun] beetle and interacts with the orange snowcat (sphynx). In the movie, he allegorically fails to navigate his life maze and therefore fails the opening of the mouth and weighing of the heart and dies in a snowbank. In other words, he didn't own his shit.
When I was in high school I took two trips with the Science Club (ran by our science teacher Mr. Sharron, whom I now suspect was a stonebuilder, aka Freemason) to Yosemite. He benevolently [followed his marching orders and] partnered us up with an inner city school on a bus trip to hike, ski, build cultural class bridges, and plant the seeds of love for one-another [as humans] and nature together. On our first visit, he arranged for us to have breakfast (food and drink) at the Ahwahnee Hotel. It was an incredible trip for me and certainly helped shaped my love of the outdoors and brethren from different cultures; it not only opened my mouth, but also my eyes, heart, and mind. Yosemite Valley was also a favorite of my grandparents, and where my parents honeymooned.
Reading the tea leaves thus far: the universe, acting through the magic of Hollywood, Disney, Williams, Kubrik, etc. together with Egyptian Coffin Texts, seems to be drawing my attention to some type of hidden clues to a righteous pathway through life I must navigate on my Quest. We all must develop our own eyes to see and ears to hear in order to decipher our own mystery. Again, as I eluded to previously, the breadcrumbs to truth along my path are not the same as yours. I'm just trying to following the path toward the golden egg... the golden road to my sun.
Speaking of my 'sun'...
...here's my son having his own 'opening of the mouth' burger ceremony at the Ahwahnee on our 2019 road trip (more on this later). (from above:"Sustenance and light are the two key aspects of life desired for the person for eternity!")
In the interest of time, let's get back to the egg... Can't waste too many days of my gr3ggorian calendar. (Note the 10:10 time on the clock, as this will come into play on a later page)
Most intriguing of all in my egg research, I found egg references in Arthurian Legends, which symbolize the search for the holy grail.
My favorite Arthurian Legend and synchromystic connection by far is 'Ready Player One' (RPO), both the book by Ernest Cline and the movie directed by Steven Spielberg. Not only were they great story-lines and entertainment, I related to them on a higher level as the story is essentially set within a virtual world assembled with props and pop culture references from my youth days in the 1980s. Note the use of the egg symbology, too.
Images from Ready Player One. I'm a Gunter ('egg hunter') and I am Player One in my virtual soul simulation.
Anorak says after releasing the 3 keys (Copper, Jade, and Crystal), "The keys aren't just laying around under a rock somewhere. I suppose you could say they're invisible, hidden in a dark room that's at the center of a maze, that's located somewhere up here" as he points to his skull. In other words, we have to search the recesses of our egg-headed minds to find our own keys. The more I gunted in search of the keys, the more I began to see these images of eggs as a form of true, occulted, easter eggs in my own matrix: hidden markers, hints and breadcrumbs along the path of raising the spirit.
Going a higher octave further, the book and movie broke the fourth (or 5th?) wall and began resonating with me at an unimaginable level. In the RPO story, as in my story, the virtual world is created by Gregarious Simulation Systems... G.S.S. - my initials.
Parzival discovers the first key on the planet where his school (skull) is located. From the novel: 'The entrance to the Tomb of Horrors was hidden near “a low, flat-topped hill... if you viewed them from a great height, they resembled the eye sockets, nose holes, and teeth of a human skull.' Recall earlier, the surname Sheldon comes from 'hill with a flat top'. My key resides in my skull.
That 2019 road trip I took with my son [mentioned above] was completely impromptu; no reservations and no plans other than to visit the 11 western states. In hindsight, we realized we symbolically collected all three keys on day one. Our first stop for a snack was in the town of COPPERopolis, CA, the city of copper. I'd never seen or hear of this town; my son said he was get'n hungry, so I just turned at the next sign... our first key of the day [the copper key]. Second stop was at the Ahawanee Hotel in Yosemite for lunch, where the JADE key was found in the movie (during 'The Shining' scene). Our final stop for the day: Las Vegas. After leaving Yosemite and getting a cell signal, I googled 'hotels in Vegas' and made a random reservation at the Excalibur Hotel which is fashioned after King Arthur's castle; Anorak's castle was the location of the CRYSTAL key. I guess art really does imitates life.
Speaking of skulls and schools and gr3ggh3ads... here are the Egghead bronze sculptures by artist Robert Arneson at University California Davis... where I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Really??... what is with all the egg imagery and lore? Why does Harry Potter's egg scream out of water, but sings pleasantly under water? Why was Tom Cruise protecting an egg in the movie Risky Business? Why was Humpty Dumpty an egg, and what did the author mean by 'all the Kingsmen could not put him back together again'? Why in the movie Kingsmen was the main character named 'Eggsy'? Why in the world is this egg seem to be so seemingly prevalent in my world? Why is the all-seeing-eye-egg watching over me in college? Why did Paul McCartney's "people" choose 'Back to the Egg' for an album name and had him sing two egg related songs ('Sunny Side Up' and 'Over Easy') on the album? I did an internet search on the meaning of 'Back to the Egg' and found zilch, zero, nothing. Who ultimately is behind the use of this occulted use of egg symbolism and why are they using it on the masses? Or, is this just visible to me when I peek through the veil? Is it the occulted powers that run The Greatest Show On Earth through their network of secret societies (e.g. the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, OTO, Rosicrucian, Masons, Synagogue of Shatan (Satan), etc.) doing their 'Great Work'? Or, is it the Gr3ggarious Simlation System unrolling the scrolls of my tale in my skull? Both? I suspect the tarot deck and it's zero card is a hint. I think the tarot deck is some kind of metaphorical road map of the human journey, and begins at 0, the egg... the fool. If your soul endures all the wands, pentacles, cups, and spades but does not accomplish all it set out to do in this lifetime... it's 'back to the egg' with you; Groundhog Day: start over and try again and again until you get it right!
The symbol of the egg is used extensively in art, religion, literature, and entertainment. In mythology it symbolizes the cycle of life and rebirth. But, I suspect it is also a symbol of an invisible, fragile carrying case that metaphorically encapsulates our soul that you carry with you and protect and fill with all the good deeds you collect along your path; your 'heart', 'ib' or 'chest'. Merkaba perhaps. The Star of David symbolizes the Merkaba.
Theosophy Wiki says 'The Egg is a universal symbol representing the primordial source from which the Deity and the materials for the creation of the cosmos come into existence. ...In Theosophical literature it represents the primordial substance and the germ of consciousness (Logos) in it, in their various stages of development, from the unmanifested and undifferentiatied to the fully manifested.
Wikipedia says the 'world egg', 'cosmic egg', or 'mundane egg' is a 'mythological motif found in the cosmogonies of many cultures that is present in proto-Indo-European culture and other cultures and civilizations. Typically, the world egg is a beginning of some sort, and the universe or some primordial being comes into existence by "hatching" from the egg, sometimes lain on the primordial waters of the Earth'.
This is a succinct description of egg symbology:
I've been getting the feeling that the image of The Cosmic Egg encircled by the Oroboros, with markings at the 4 corners of the Zodiac, holds some hints to a great mystery. I think as part of my own tale/story/Quest, the mythology of the great serpent represents and embodies all that is evil in my world, but manifesting as lessons. Furthermore, programmed within the Oroboros 'beast system' of the world is it's self-destruct mechanism: all that is required is to pass all of these 'lessons' and make the serpent bite it's own tail to release the peace of the stars and heaven above, thereby ushering in the next golden age.
The Cosmic Egg encircled by the Oroboros
Art and the world around us gives us all kinds of hidden clues toward meaning and ascension. Below is a fresco by Constantino Brumidi (who worked for three years in the Vatican under Pope Gregory XVI). The Apotheosis of Washington (apotheosis = man become god) on the underside of the capitol dome in D.C. depicts George Washington among the goddesses of the Zodiac, seated atop a rainbow, with the one hand up one hand down Ba'al God/Devil pose.
Why is this 1842 Mother Goose [that laid the golden egg] illustration showing her with the same hand pose?!?
... or the junk food mascot at Arco Gas Stations?!?! Note that the 'up hand' is entraining with the triple '7', occultly known as 'the number of perfection and completion', while the 'down hand' entrains with the 'Red Bull'... a false profit of the energy drink world.
Below is another godlike savior figure: Jesus [a] Christ, born on Easter, perched on a rainbow, with the same duality handed pose. If you don't 'rise like the Christ', you decent the levels of Dante's Inferno to learn more harsh lessens.
Below is the 8-bit graphic 'egg based' video game by Babylon Brooks, called Hell. The 'game starts simply enough but soon becomes a demonic labyrinth of “mischief and debauchery.”... “Crack the egg, and if you fry it up and time it right...eat up! If you couldn’t fry it up, you will be sent to hell... And that’s when shit gets dark. Arriving in hell changes the game into a tile-based dungeon crawler all about collecting items, dealing with demons, and learning all of the seven deadly sins so you can light a group of ritual altars. The evil quest has the player embodying the sins in some sort of bizarre chicken-and-egg version of David Fincher’s Seven: Shoot a bunch of stuff to manifest wrath, eat a lot of hamburgers to become gluttony, and so on." (Heather Alexandra - https://www.kotaku.com.au) Allegorically, this 8-bit, cheesy video game tells us to handle our egg properly... else face and endure the seven levels of hell!!
I hope to steer clear of Huevo Brujo's "sharp hooks"!!
Clues to ascension (and de-ascension) have been left for us by recent video game artists and long past civilizations. The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of them. Built ages ago, it was placed at a latitude of 29.9792458 degrees North. The speed of light measures 299,972,458 m/s; the Eggzact!! same nine digits as the latitude. The etymology of the word 'Pyramid' breaks down to 'measure of light' (roots: pyre/fire/light and midos/measure). How can those two numbers contain the staggering 9 same digits in order, AND the structure it is encoded within be referenced as 'measures of light'? (I can't help but laugh when the 'blinded' say this is just an amazing coincidence) Amongst many, many other clues and knowledge embedded in it's measurements and proportions, the corner angles of 42 deg. holds the biggest of keys.
When light strikes rain in the sky above us, a rainbow will appear at precisely 42 degrees above the ground from the viewpoint of our eyes.
According to my son's favorite movie, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams,"The Ultimate Answer to Life, The Universe and Everything is...42".
The "Answer Egg" from the Roblox video game my son plays.
Another favorite movie of his is the Marvel Iron Man series. It's a great allegorical tale about an 'iron man', alchemically someone at a base metal level, who through his own weapons of destruction, ends up trapped in a [Platos] cave, saved by heart doctor Hope Yensen, where Tony St.Ark must build his own 'arc reactor' (ark) in his chest to save his soul to set himself free. Beware of the egg attack! (note the 42)
When we slow down in life enough to ponder the bigger questions, like "why are we here", I believe when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. My 'teacher' showed up on July 4, 2012... aphelion day when the Earth [hEart] is furthest from the Sun; the first day I sat down and really began to explore the question of 'why am I here?' and followed the white rabbit down it's hole. Perhaps it was the day I was finally reborn. Unbeknownst to me, I was unwittingly being initiated into the ancient mystery schools and began my Quest. Below is a picture of Jack at the end of the Shining on the 4th of July (almost 100 years ago from this year). Notice again the Ba'al/Baphomet hand pose... as above so below (credit again to Subliminalsynchrosphere blog).
Another snipit below from Horselover Phat. In the movie 'Born on the 4th of July', Tom Cruise was a soul-dier (soldier) in the mi-lit[e]-awry (military). Cruise's character grew up idolizing soldiers, smiling and waving at the vets as they drove past in the town parade. When he grew up, he went off to war, got shot up, returned home disabled, and expected his family and town to worship him as a hero, but they did not. Until he learned that war was not the answer and he had been the fool, he could not see the light. I found it to be a great illustration of the messages of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. In the Iliad, Odysseus could not 'find his way home' because his mindset was that he was a hero of war and he desired to get home and be worshiped as one. The Gods made him wander for years on end to discover the errors of his ways; he was only able to finally 'return home' in the Odyssey as a humble hero that had conquered the evil within. I believe that life is some form of a contest for the soul, and as art and literature have tried to remind us: if you don't get it right, you come back again and again until you learn your lessons. Live - Die - Repeat... until you get it right. Another perfect gem from Subliminalsynchrosphere below that illustrates this point.
Shown below is Captain America's birth certificate from the Marvel universe - note that he too was born on the July 4.
In summary, it's quite clear to me now that the goal of my Quest thus far is to follow the breadcrumb trail of easter eggs, gather all the keys hidden in the maze, conquer/slay my DragOns, fill my Ark/Chest/Heart with love, alchemically transmute my base metals to pure light, and collect the Golden Egg/Grail/Cup of Christ/Trophy. Let go of my ego and ascend my soul over the rainbow.
Off to use the eggs I've gathered to make some 'serpent tail soup'!
